GVAWL Animals

“Until one has loved an animal- a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” Anatole France

Some of the souls I have been blessed to cross paths with at Gunnison Valley Animal Welfare League. Oliver and Rugur have found their forever homes since these photos were taken but all of the others are patiently awaiting a committed, loving family or companion. As promised I created a page under photography of the animals at the shelter which you can find Here. Even if you aren’t looking for a furry companion your heart will smile looking at the purest most genuine beings. Their gratitude extends to all!

  1. Awwww!!! You are so right, animals give us unconditional love. 3 of the 4 dogs we’ve had were missing treated or lost and yet still trusted us humans and gave us so much pleasure. Dolly is still with us making us laugh daily 😍xx

    1. I just love hearing those stories, Wendy! Nothing makes my heart happier than animals finding companions to love and trust. So wonderful sweet Dolly continues to brighten your world! My fiance and I rescued our first dog when she was 14 years old, she changed my life! Wishing you a lovely week ahead! X

      1. Ahh – that was so lovely to adopt an ‘elderly’ dog and provide her a beautiful place to spend her retirement.. They do certainly have the capacity to change our lives… Wishing you a wonderful week ahead too. xx
