Delaware, while it sure has many flaws, it has its treasures too. After all it is nicknamed “The Small Wonder”. Nestled within nuclear chem plants, an absurd amount of shopping centers, overpopulated highways, and a violent stricken city exists an array of ancient trees, lush -almost tropical landscapes, an assortment of preserved native plants and what’s left of the country. Happy week-ending my friends! I hope Spring has greeted you with sunshine and awakened excitement for brighter, longer days ahead. The end of March and start of April have been dismal and gloomy here on the western slope of Colorado. Overcast skies, full-bodied clouds, and the occasional sliver of Grandfather Sun- the daily outfit of our 2018 spring season. Where’s The Snow, Colorado?

Happy 2018! All that hype and now we’re here! New Years can feel like standing in two states at the same time, don’t ya think? Now we’re two days passed the threshold but there’s no need to rush, we can resolve to be here now. Here on the western slope of Colorado we’ve had just two small snow storms this winter, an astonishing difference to the 350+ inches of snowfall we had last winter.
