The Mojave Desert Pt. 3

Hello my friends! I hope the start of your week has been smooth and easy-going! We’ve made it to the final installment of my Mojave Desert series. Part 3 consists of many ‘trips’ to the desert, a pot-luck if you will, as I pulled some of my favorites from over the years and a couple I unintentionally left out from parts 1 and 2. Seven Magic Mountains

7 pillars stacked with vibrantly colored boulders stand tall in the Mojave desert. Towering over 30 feet high, they certainly cast a presence and instantly capture ones attention. Seven Magic Mountains is the work of Swiss artist, Ugo Rondinone. As Ugo has said his project “merges the histories of land art and pop art”.

Road Trippin’ in the USA

Hi there friends! My husband and I have started our Western Americana road trip which also happens to be our honeymoon! It has been nothing short of amazing thus far! Warm weather, palm trees, changing landscapes, and each other. We even brought our pup along for good measure.  I may not be able to share a whole lot while on the road but here are a few captures from the beginning of our travels.     Are you a fan of road trips? Whats your favorite roads to travel? I am so very grateful for all of the brilliant connections…
