Snowflakes are swirling gently from a foggy white sky. A sky that feels closer than usual. Living at altitude can often appear as if the world above is within reach, when the fog settles and the clouds drop into the land it becomes a nearly tangible reality. As each flake falls so does the friendly, familiar, peace, and quiet. It's melodic in its own rite. The air is so frigid it kisses the cheeks, frosts lashes, and undresses the Aspens of their dying leaves. The temperature high is predicted to be a brisk 24º tomorrow, cold is simply winters birthright, and our initiation into its season. True here, at least. But before Fall gives the stage to winter, the two seem to share a dance, unveiling to us the harmony in coming together, the liberation in letting go, the beauty of impermanence and the nature of our cycles.  Below are captures of the dance between seasons. Bare branches, snow-capped mountains, and the last leaves of this life cycle. You may recognize "The Castles" from many of my fall captures as they continue to be a source of great inspiration for me and one of my many muses.

Hope you all are having a wonderful November!

Thank YOU all for joining me here and until next time,

Happy Trails♥
