Happy Winter Solstice all! Solstice and a nearly Full moon in Cancer. What a charged time. Our emotions can especially feel triggered and feelings of loneliness or nostalgia may arise. This isn't an astrology post but I couldn't help but share. Anyway, I haven't had much time to photograph the cold, snowy wonder of my surroundings recently. I've had my head in the stars but more on that later. However, the below photos were taken late summer/early fall during a Sunday afternoon walk. This landscape is magic, potent, wise, and alive. So many stories embedded within its layers. Stories you begin to hear the quieter you become in her presence. This was one of those quiet, unplanned quests until the thunder roared and the lightning struck twice, reminding us, everyday's a holiday. Everyday's a holi day. Everyday is sacred.

Let's embrace the darkness of today and rejoice in the light of tomorrow. Warm wishes to you all today and always!

Thank you for joining me here and until next time,

Happy Trails♥

Everyday's A Holiday was inspired by my Dad who celebrates his 60th solar return today. His life motto and coined phrase ♥
